Mr Dave Cox an investor himself, got tired of trying to manually track, analyze and report capital gains
taxes. He found tracking his trades and investments using existing, highly
complex, advertisement laden sites was to confusing. Dave could not find a
software program that suited the needs of the qualified investor and was still
left paying high accounting fees for tax reporting.
Having over twenty years of experience in the Information Technology field with
the large oil companies.
Including Shell Canada, Mobil Oil and Norcen Inc., accounting firms like J D Edwards, PriceWaterhouseCoopers
and having designed many bank software and investment business solutions.
Dave set about developing a program to manage and analyze his own Investment Portfolio.
Soon other investors, Independent brokers and chartered accountants started to
use the software.
